Well here I sit in sunny Iraq with a few thousand of my least favorite "suspected" terrorists.  The duty is boring, but it's a mission that I look forward to doing for each and every one of you and they guys and gals that are over here.  Because every guy that I have in here is one less asshole that can mess with America on our own turf.

For those of you that don't know, I met a wonderful girl while visiting Fresno last June.  I asked her to move out to Virginia with me in August to which she decided to take a chance with me and said yes.  However, as you are already aware, I promptly got deployed and had to leave her behind in Virginia for about 8 months while I am gone.  She is staying in a nice little apartment that we rent and has a job actually sitting at the same desk and in the same chair as I sat in as the Resource Advisor for my unit.

She is a wonderful loving person, for whom I have the utmost love and respect for.  Maybe someday we'll write a new chapter in each others lives.  Time will tell.
